A $75 deposit will be collected at registration and will be applied toward the consultation fee. The balance will be collected at the time of the appointment. Deposits will be refunded for cancellations made at least 24 hours prior to the appointment.

The first two months of membership are complimentary for those who enroll at the initial visit.

Membership includes all features listed under ‘non-membership’ unless otherwise specified.

- Priority scheduling: in-person or telehealth visits as often as medically necessary

- Access to patient portal: The patient portal enables access to view your test results, medical records, request prescription refills, and communicate effectively with the doctor

- Direct communication: Access to Dr. Grethen via text / email/ phone so you can receive care when you need it

- Complimentary CGM or pump data review: Dr. Grethen will review your CGM or pump data as medically necessary between visits.

- Discounts on many lab tests: Dr. Grethen has negotiated significant discounts on lab tests for those who wish to pay directly. Alternatively, you are able to use your insurance if that is your preference.

- Expedited prior authorizations: Medications, imaging and other tests often require additional paperwork for approval. We will work with your insurance company toward approval of these as quickly as possible. 

- Body Composition Analysis: Determine your body composition through bioimpedance to help monitor progress toward your lifestyle and exercise goals

- Individualized diabetes education as needed: Education can be provided at your medical appointment by Dr. Grethen

• Diabetes education provided by diabetes educator: $65 / hr (non-member cost: $125/hr)

While we encourage continuous membership for personalized high quality endocrine care, we understand that your health needs may change over time. If you should choose to rejoin after taking a break from membership, please note there will be a rejoin fee of $200.

Phone visit: $300/hr, charged in 10 min increments

- Installation and teaching of CGM placement and management: $85

-Additional letters/forms: $25 each

- Diabetes in pregnancy: $1200. For pre-existing type 1 or type 2 diabetes, or gestational diabetes. Diabetes in pregnancy must be monitored closely in order to achieve the best possible outcome for mother and baby. In this intensive program patients will have priority access to Dr. Grethen. Blood sugars will be monitored every 1-2 weeks throughout pregnancy. There will be one follow up 2-3 weeks post-delivery.

 - Thyroid disease in pregnancy: $950 For patients on thyroid medication. Thyroid function must be closely monitored and medication carefully adjusted throughout pregnancy to maintain pregnancy-specific levels. Labs are typically checked on a monthly basis.
